Water Quality

Summary

I evaluated two parts (labeled 'Part 1' and 'Part 2') of Mossy Creek for Kathleen, GA.  The following sections describe Mossy Creek's fishing, aquatic life, and watershed qualities.

Note: I did not include a button to the website because the website was having issues.

Water

Fishing

Part 1 is in 'good condition'.  It can support aquatic life and fishing.

​

Part 2 is in 'impaired condition'.  It cannot support aquatic life.

Drinking Water Source

It is a community water source.  The water comes from underground.   There are no health violations, however, there are traces of lead, copper, and nitrate in the water.
